Roberta Ruth "Robin" Thiel, 53, of Anselmo died Monday, June 2, 2008, at Jennie Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow.

She was born July 27, 1954, in Pawnee, Okla., to Richard and Cora (Roberts) Powers.

On Sept. 21, 1973, she married Bill Thiel in Lincoln.

Survivors include her husband; son, Ed of Comstock; daughters, Louise Maring of Anselmo and Wendy Golden of Spalding; her father of Edmond, Okla.; brother, Jim Powers of Overland Park, Kan.; and five grandchildren.
