Howard Hydo

Howard Eugene "H-Man" Hydo, 56, Lincoln, passed away peacefully in the arms of his family at home on Wednesday (5/6/09). He was born on November 22, 1952 in Grand Island, Neb. to John A. & Margaret (Pallett) Hydo, Sr. 1972 Graduate of Lincoln High. Member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, USMC Veteran, worked at BNSF as a sheet metal worker for 33 years, supporter of the Special Olympics, and a foster parent.

Survivors: wife, Sylvia Hydo; children, Christina "Tina" Hydo; Jessica & Nick Zabel; Shelly & Tuan Le, all of Lincoln; grandchildren: Ian & Chloe Zabel, Timmy, Tate, Tyler & Thylin Le; Godchildren: Alyssia & Adrian Clark; Amanda Rodriguez; Angelo Ybarra; brothers & sisters, Mary Sand, Lincoln; Johnny & Rita Hydo, Jr., Beatrice; Theresa & Gilbert Laus, Lincoln; Harold & Paula Hydo, Lincoln; in-laws: Annette Ybarra; Michael Ybarra; Daniel & Renee Ybarra, all of Lincoln; Ruth & Mark Chandler, Scurry, Texas. Preceded in death by: parents; grandparents & father-in-law.

Funeral Service: 1:30 p.m. Monday (5/11/09) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 3128 'S' Street, Lincoln, 68503. The family requests casual dress. Closed Casket Visitation: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday (5/9/09) with the family greeting friends from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., all at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
