Duane "Dewey" Strough, 67, Lincoln, died Monday (10/17/06). Born Sept. 4, 1939, in Falls City, to Terry E. and Viola J. (Willis) Strough. Retired teacher/coach. Taught physical education and coached gymnastics and golf at Lincoln High School, and was assistant gymnastics coach under Frances Allen at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Veteran, U.S. Army, 101st Airborne. Owner/operator of the Tri City School of Gymnastics in Grand Island from 1979 to 1986. Family members include: son, Sean Strough, Las Vegas; brother, Everett Strough, Lincoln; sister, Jean Van Winkle, Gretna; nieces, nephews. Preceded in death by parents; two brothers; one sister.
