Sherilyn "Sheri" Sue (Larson) McAuliffe

50, Lincoln, died Friday (3/4/05). Born to Victor and Carolyn Larson on Jan. 14, 1955, in Holdrege. Graduated 1973, Lincoln Northeast High School; Bachelor of Science, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, 1977; Master of Science, UNL, 1994. Sheri worked as a Client Service Representative for United Cerebral Palsy; Public Affairs Coordinator, Nebraska State Capitol and as Southeast Regional Director, American Lung Association of Nebraska. She applied counseling certification practice while assisting dialysis patients and victims of domestic abuse.

Service: Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, (3/8/05) at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd., with Rev. Jim Tuttle.

Memorials: Juvenile Diabetes Association, and Dialysis Center of Lincoln.

Family includes: husband Terry; sisters, brothers-in-law, Jan and Ned Eckman, Sonja and Reed Stephenson, all of Lincoln, Linda and John Stansbury, Omaha; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, Rick and Cathy McAuliffe, Omaha, Tracy and Andy Schilling, Oslo, Norway; mother, father-in-law Richard and Gerry McAuliffe, Omaha; nieces, nephews, Lora and Leo Curry, Steve and Julie Eckman, Kristin and Sean Murphy, Matt Stansbury and Barbara Seymour, Scott and Michelle Eckman, Jenny Stephenson, Tyler Stephenson, R.J., Maureen, Joe, Molly McAuliffe, Tony and Jamey Schilling; great-nephews Max and Sam Curry. Preceded in death by parents, Victor and Carolyn Larson; nephew, Mike Peterson; great-nephew, Carter Murphy.

My fond memories of Sheri Larson are that she would ask for MY help with her math during study hall...actually, she was just being friendly.

Brenda Seale (Venhaus)

Sheri passed away on March 4, 2005. She was a "best friend" to most of us. She is greatly missed and will always be loved dearly.
