Mission Story:

I can't imagine dreaming up a better experience; would not trade it for the world; loved my companions and was blessed with the best of the best companions!!! Loved the people, the country, the culture, etc. Loved serving under Pres. and Sister Hillam and will feel eternally blessed for that experience. Pretty much got to visit or serve in almost every city we had missionaries at the time with the exception of a couple islands in the Azores. Translating for Elder and Sister Packer in March of 1982 in Porto was a definite high light and will never forget the witness of the Spirit that I felt verifying the reality of his apostleship along with the great experiences with all of my companions and the friendships to this very day.
