NEW HARTFORD - Jeannette L. Eastman, 59, of Behrens Road, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012, in her home. She was the beloved wife of Douglas O. Eastman.
Jeannette was born in Torrington on February 26, 1953, daughter of Jacqueline (Capell) Howe of Harwinton and the late Roy E. Howe. She co-owned E-Mat with her husband Douglas and enjoyed decorating, gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors in addition to her mother and husband include two brothers; Steven A. Howe and his wife, Lori, of Colebrook and Frederick W. Howe and his wife, Carrie, of Harwinton and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 28, at 11 a.m., at Torringford Cemetery, Torringford Street, Torrington, with Rev. Dwayne Moon officiating. The Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect Street, Torrington, is in care of arrangements.
