Ann L. Kofroth (Wright Yancy)

Ann L. Wright Yancy, 60, of 2721 Old Orchard Road, Lancaster, passed away at Hospice of Lancaster County on April 8, 2005, following a brief illness. Born in Lititz, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Betty Enck Kofroth, and the wife of Ronald B. Yancy of Lancaster.

She graduated in 1962 from Warwick High School and in 1980 from St. Joseph School of Nursing. Ann was a President of the Wheatland Junior Woman's Club, and past member of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and Lancaster County Association of Realtors.

She worked as a Laboratory Technician at Warner Lambert, as a Mortgage Loan Processor for Lomas & Nettleton Co. of Lancaster, in the E.R. and Intensive Care Unit as a registered nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital, at Planned Parenthood, and was employed for 19 years as a case manager for the Visiting Nurse Association up until the time of her illness.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald B. Yancy, Lancaster, in addition to her daughter, Kimberly Ann, wife of Michael Jones, of Cicero, NY; a son, Edward A., husband of Patricia M. Wright, Holtwood; two step-children, Rhonda S. Dreden and Eric L., husband of Kimberly Yancy, both of Fort Worth, TX and seven grandchildren, Chad, Collin, Remington, Alexander, Cassandra, Logan and Cameron.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. from the Richard H. Heisey Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz, PA with the Rev. Michael R. Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Millport Mennonite Cemetery. Viewing: Monday, April 11, 2005 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
