Senior Chief Petty Officer Kevin Osterberger, USN (RET) of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away on February 6, 2017 at the age of 67. He was born in 1949 in Chicago, Illinois to the late William and Grace Osterberger. He is predeceased by his brother Larry Osterberger. He was a graduate of Palatine High School in Palatine, Illinois and earned his BA from St. Leo College.

“OB” was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family, talk radio, Disney, Chicago Bears and his country deeply. He was proud to have served his country in the United States Navy for 23 years.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Keiko; their children, William and Kimberly; daughter-in-law, Jennifer; son-in-law, Larry; grandchildren, Connor, Caeden, and Colin; grandpups, Kona, Lola, Suri, Piper, and Jango; siblings, Mickey and Roger; he is further survived by nieces and nephews, and his dog Yoko. He leaves behind many close friends.
