Hey Dad - if you are looking down on us I can finally confess that I did cut school quite a few times after you stopped being the truant officer....and I was never caught like so many of those who preceded me and still complain about it to this day. :-)
Dear Mr. Emma, I have found thoughts and memories of you. You gave me a few opportunites I really needed and you were sincerely such a nice person unfairly maligned because you caught up to the truant kids. You helped a lot of kids, and who knew? Who appreciated it. I did. You are surely in a blessed place.
