Almarie Anderson (Pankey), 76, of Little Rock, Arkansas, was born on February 17, 1948, to the
late Carlean Poe-Anderson and Dan Anderson in Inverness, Mississippi. She was welcomed
into eternal rest on Friday, October 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Almarie accepted Christ at an early age and was a dedicated member of Greater Second Baptist
Church, serving under the leadership of Pastor Curtis Rideout and Pastor David Featherstone.
With over 20 years in the Little Rock School District, her last position was at Cloverdale Middle
School. She also proudly served in the Army National Guard and was an esteemed member of
the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dan Anderson Jr. and Stephon
Anderson; and one sister, Mary (Maelee) Rowlette.

Almarie leaves behind cherished memories
with her two sons, Charles Anderson and Kenneth Wyatt Jr. of Little Rock; six sisters, Dorothy
Johnson of Little Rock, Diane Johnson of Aubrey, Texas, Rose Coleman, and Kim Hayes
(Gregory) of Little Rock; two brothers, Dwight Anderson and David Coleman of Little Rock;
along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold
her in their hearts.
