Larry Leroy Jefferson was born on May 22, 1947 to the late Leola Moore-McCuin and Chester Jefferson. He was preceded in death by his loving grandmother Laura Walls-Silver and mother Leola Moore-McCuin. Larry attended the Little Rock Public Schools and graduated from Central High in 1967. His cousin Carlotta Walls-Lanier; being one of the Little Rock Nine helped to paved the way for the future of young black students to attend and graduate from Central High School. In earlier years Larry was employed by the Little Rock Police Department as a Crossing Guard and Little Rock Public School District. He was employed by Kellwood Industries. Larry was a very industrious worker and was valued by his employers. He leaves to cherish his memories two sisters Jean Ward and Laura Moore of Milwaukee, WI. Larry has a host of nieces, nephews, great nephews and great nieces and cousins; who will miss him dearly. Larry will be missed by special friends Wilbunette Randolph, Mrs. Jean Beasley, and Mrs. Marie Whitlow. Larry will also be remembered for his flair of fashion and his personable love for children and the elderly
