Our beloved uncle, George Earl Vault, who departed this life on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at the age of 76.
Born on February 24, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas. George was a man of quiet strength, deep kindness, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. He had a gentle spirit and a sharp wit. George graduated from Horace Mann High School and continued his education at UALR, graduating with a BS in Engineering Science with honors. Throughout his life, George touched the lives of many through his work as a Computer Analyst for Systematics until his retirement. His passion for reading and computers never waned, and even in retirement, he remained an avid reader and tech enthusiast, exploring new ideas and innovations. George’s legacy lives on not only in the systems he helped build but also in the hearts of those who knew him—as a mentor, a friend, and a kind soul who made the world a little better. Though dementia gradually took his memories, it never stole his warmth or the love that radiated from him until the very end. His resilience during this difficult journey was an inspiration, and his legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He is survived by his nieces and nephews remembered with love by friends and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Hilda Vault and his sister Bobbie Rose Harris. Rest peacefully, Uncle George. You are dearly missed and forever loved.
