Robert J. “Rabbit” Neasley, 57 of Little Rock AR went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 24, 2006 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was born March 21, 1949 to Arthur and Geneva Neasley in Little Rock, Arkansas. He served two years in the U.S. Marines after his tour of duty in Vietnam. He received a Purple Heart for combat injuries.
He was the third born of seven children. He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Neasley, stepfather J.D. Higgins, Grandmother Erma Starks, and one brother Richard Neasley. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age.
He was united in Marriage to Sharon Janice Hill and to that union one child was born. He was a member of First Baptist Highland Park in Little Rock AR.
Survivors include: his mother, Geneva Higgins; one son, Robert Neasley Jr.; one daughter, Lawanna Neasley; three sisters, Margaret Adams, Deborah Harris and Ava (Erbert) Brooks, two brothers, Rickey (Earnestine) Olive Sr., and Wayne (Margarita) Olive Sr. six grandchildren, five nephews, three nieces, cousins, an host of other relatives, and friends.
