I had the good fortune of being both neighbor and best friend with this kind and fun guy from the time we entered 3rd and 4th grade. One of the things I admired about him, was the fact that he never said unkind things about anyone. Pat truly saw the good in others. His mother helped raise me, and my mama helped raise him. He was protective of me, and of our other friend, Barry.
In his Heaven, he is playing with his beagle, Ranger, and jumping ramps on bicycle.
