Alan Ray Barnette, age 55, of Bauxite, passed away May 8, 2020, after a long 2 year battle with cancer (squamous cell carcinoma of the larynx).  He went peacefully in his sleep and was truly a fighter.  He was born October 16, 1964 in Bee Branch, Texas.  Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Alene Barnette.

He is survived by his wife, Tamara Barnette; son, Christopher Barnette; daughter, Brionna Barnette; two brothers, Norman and Martin Barnette; sister, Sheila Jordan and two grandchildren.

A private memorial services will be held at a later date.
