DEWAYNE WAS A VERY GOOD FRIEND OF MINE ALL THROUGH JR.HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL. I LOST CONTACT WITH HIM AFTER WE GRADUATED. I WAS TOLD HIS EX-WIFE SHOT HIM IN THE CHEST AFTER CALLING HIM TO MEET AND TALK ABOUT THEIR DAUGHTER, I TALKED TO HIS PARENTS SEVERAL YEARS BACK(10 OR MORE) AND THEY WERE GOING TO PROTEST AT HER PAROLE HEARING. HE WAS ALWAYS FUN TO BE AROUND AND WILL ALWAYS BE MISSED!
Ya forgot to add that our good friend had gone on in life to become a Little Rock Police Officer...Protecting and Serving the community he grew up in....and yet...He was not on guard to protect himself from her...His parents still attend all the parole hearings every year fighting to keep her behind bars...
