After graduation, I spent 4 years at Ouachita Baptist University, where I earned a BA in Accounting. I also met my husband, James, at OBU. We lived in Little Rock a few years, and then spent 3 years in Fayetteville while James attended the U of A School of Law. After graduation, we moved to Kansas City, Missouri, and have made KC our permanent home.
I enjoyed working in several different areas of accounting over the years, but have spent most of my time in the finance departments of several hospitals. For the last 7 years, I have been a stay-at home-mom to Hugh and Luke. It has been a lot of fun! A few weeks ago, the hospital I worked for before the children were born called to say that my old job had just become available, and wanted to know if I was interested in coming back to work. Since Luke will be starting Kindergarten in the fall, I decided to accept their offer.
