Funny the things you remember. I do remember the first time I saw Kelly in the fourth grade. Mrs. Chappell's class. I think of Kelly often.

I remember Kelly's beautiful spirit and her big dimples! I think of her often and I have visited her grave several times.

Kelly was a great pretty lady. She would walk up to my dad's store and we'd talk every time. We grew a friendship that can never be forgotten. Fourth grade was when I first meet her in Mrs. McMurray's class. I remember all the fun times we had through elementary and jr high. I remember at Bingham Road Baptist Church Kelly gave her heart to Jesus Christ @ a revival. This is why I am happy to share this with every one.

Kelly was always happy. I remember the day she passed all to well. 3 hours after she passed, my baby sister was born. Kimmie has the same birthday as Kelly. Also my son, Dylan was born on that day. I always think of her. We were not really close but she always friendly. I always visit her grave when I am down there visiting my Great Grandma and Grandma's.

Bless her heart, so young. Kelley and I hung around at school a lot. I can't believe still that happened to her, so full of life! Always smiling with those dimples! I don't think Kelley had one person that did not like her. Does anyone know how to get in touch with Kim or Karla?

I agree.. she was a beautiful spirit and beautiful person. I don't know of anyone that didn't love her. May God Bless her family! And I know she is in a much better place.

Kelly was my best friend--as I'm sure she was many others. My family loved her, and her sisters. My dad used to always tease them that when they came over he had to go buy more groceries. I have lots of great memories of Kelly--especially cheerleading. I still have all the notes she wrote me--wow--I don't know how we ever learned anything because we were all so busy writing notes. Kelly was at my house earlier in the day the night she was killed. We had a swimming party (imagine that) for the cheerleaders, and she left my house wearing my bathing suit. The last thing I ever said to her was I love you and gave her a hug. That's also the last thing my mom said to her.
Hey Tina--Kim was around Bryant somewhere--funny coincidence--her and Karla both came to our house a lot after my brother was killed; and came to funeral. Well, Kim's daughter, Katherine and my brother's son, Wesley ended up meeting each other and dated for a little while!! Katherine looks like her momma, but looks so much like Kelly I think.
I always remember Kelly's smile and her hugs--she always had the best hugs-she would squeeze you so hard!!

Ok-for you girls who were cheerleaders with us at Fuller--checkout the pic of Kelly sitting on the desk--that was at cheerleading camp-and look at the cabbage patch house shoes sitting beside her--we all got a pair of those from our cheerleading sponsor, Lisa Hope--we loved those things. I wore mine out!!

Kelly's mom was one of my softball coaches back in 4th grade. Kelly came to a few of the practices but i didn't really know her at that time. Her sister Kim was on my team. The next time I saw her was in 7th grade. We never really have the chance to get to know each other but I always thought she was a sweet girl and full of life. My dad was one of the firemen with Arch Street that went to that accident. I also visit her grave some times.

When I think of Kelly I remember her beautiful heart and those dimples!! Kelly didn't live too far from me so we hung out at times.

I remember one day we were walking back to Kelly's house from mine. We both were carrying a bag full of clothes because I was going to spend the night with her. As we were walking a truck pulled up with 3 much older guys who started harassing us. We both dropped our sacks of clothes and took off running toward her house, because we were closer to her house than mine. They started laughing at us and drove off. Yes we were scared. The guys never turned around so we went back and picked up our clothes. Wow- so long ago, yet I remember it like it was last week. She was such a sweetie.

I'm so thankful to have had the chance to get to know her, and I know I'll see her again one day.
