The fact that so many people call Jack "friend" is a testament to his being. To say he was "special" is an understatement. Everyone he touched is better for having known him. He was undeservedly humble. He was kind to a fault. He was loyal and dependable. He had a quiet charisma that is hard to explain, but it was easy to see that there was much sustance and intelligence in Jack Pruniski. Active to the end, he treated life's personal challenges as small road bumps. Yet he had great empathy for others' struggles. His personality consisted of so many contrasts: although he was generally quiet and seemed so - well - "normal", he adventured to places and did things I could never think of doing; he was a very good athlete, but was also a fantastic photogrpher; he enjoyed travel and family, but he also enjoyed his work; he enjoyed being with friends but his best friend was Mary Jane and they shared a beautiful life together. I am tearing up as I write this because I miss him very much as we all do. Jack, thanks for all you have given us. I know that you are watching over us now and I appreciate all the support you will continue to give us. Love, Mike
