Barbara and I were neighborhood friends, playing together when we were 10-12 years old and lived on the same block. I was so happy when I enrolled at the Mount to find Barbara was my classmate! When I saw her name listed on the In Memoriam page, I tried to look up her obituary. My brother found an announcement of Barbara's death on October 8 posted by her brother on his Facebook page. There was a lovely photo of Barbara surrounded by bouquets of flowers. In her smiling face, I could see the young girl I remembered. May she rest in peace. --Ann Schlumberger
