Danny Nosal of North Little Rock, died Friday, Jan. 8. Without any known health problems, Mr. Nosal died suddenly and peacefully in his sleep. He was 51.

He had worked for the City of Maumelle since last June, landscaping lawns and doing his part to make the city more beautiful.

"He always loved the outdoors. I guess God was calling him home," said his wife, Linda Davidson Nosal.

Born in 1948 to Andrew and Rose Miller of North Little Rock, Mr. Nosal was a graduate of Catholic High School. It was in his senior year there that he met his future wife, a North Little Rock High School senior, who lived a few blocks down the road from him.

The couple dated for eight years before marrying in 1974 and building a house on MacArthur Drive, where they raised their daughter and son, Rhonda, now 21 and Stephen 16.

Mr. Nosal worked for 16 years at Carrier Corp. in Maumelle until the plant closed, an at D & D Radiator for 14 years after that.

But the center of his life was his church, the Immaculate Heart of Mary, where he was part of the 15 member Rosary Sodality prayer group that says the Rosary daily.

As is their tradition, the other 14 members faithfully stood by his casket at his 10 a.m. funeral mass last Monday, which was officiated by msgr. Bernard Malone. Burail follwed in the Immaculate Hears of Mary Cemetery.

Besides his wife and two children, Mr. Nosal is survived by hs mother and sister, Betty Miller, both of North Little Rock.

The family requests that memorials be made to Immaculte Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 7006 Jasna Gora Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72118; nlrt1/14/1999
