Jeff was my neighbor and friend. I remember when he got a job at the Pizza Inn and kept my glass full of coke during the slow hours of his shift. He bought a banjo with his earnings so he could learn to play some of the songs that we popular. He was a friend with whom I lost contact with when I left Little Rock. I always thought he was teaching history in Benton, AR for some reason and the fact that he no longer walks amongst us does not diminish my memories of him. A Google search for him led me to this site and this wonderful opportunity to see friends that I have had no contact for 50 years. It could be my friend leading me home.
I did some research to try to find out what happened to Jeff. I did not find an obituary but I did find that he died July 17, 2006 in Washington state. He and I were friends in High School and fraternity brothers at LRU. He remains in my thoughts and prayers.
