I remember becoming friends when we worked together at Ken Caryl Chevron. We had some crazy, & fun times there.
I remember drinking beers, having lots of laughs and hanging out with your family on weekend nights. I remember your love for tricked out VW bugs and your white one that you restored. I remember going to concerts, watching Arnold Schwartzenegger movies, Van Halen, Ratt, Scorpions, Cindrella, Gargoyles sunglasses & our band that we never started. You were an excellent mechanic and a great friend.
We lost touch after you got married and I think the last time I saw you was in 1991. I was shocked when your brother Derrek told me about your suicide back in 1995.
I wish we where still friends when you felt that was your only way out. I don't know what pain or demons you were dealing with to have made that choice, but I wish I could have been there to be a friend to help you though what was going on.
I miss you, Kevin and think about you quite offen. I hope your pain is gone and that you found some true happiness in Heaven.
I hope to see you again, when I enter God's kingdom. Until then, I will never forget our friendship.
