Brett Cornett was a thoughtful, intelligent man with a passion for American history which nurtured some of his eclectic interests including the JFK assassination conspiracy theories and the disputed validity of the Apollo II moon landing mission. He loved animals, especially his cherished companion cat, Gracie. His friends and family will miss his dry sense of humor, his infectious laugh and his unique view on life.

Brett is survived by his mother and stepfather, Sarah and Warren Hagen of Jenkins, KY, his sister and brother-in-law, Laura Cornett Breaux and Lloyd Breaux, as well as his nieces, Regena Cornett and Lydia Breaux, all of Irving, TX. Brett's father, O. Dean Cornett, preceded him in death.
