Ray was one of those exceptional student athletes. The guy had the good fortune of having a great mind to go with his natural athletic ability. Ray was always a great influence to have around... and when you were in his presence, you always felt good. I often admired is tenacity in doing things. He was a very gifted individual. You could tell that Raymond was going to go far. Sadly, I remember attending his funeral and how his passing made me think of how much there is to do in this life while we still have the chance.
