While I didn't know Mike much in High School, I was always impressed by his beautiful singing voice. I regret not being involved in the Arts in my youth because I know I would have naturally interacted quite a bit with Mike. He was a very nice person... with a great set of pipes.
I always LOVED to hear Mike sing ... such a DEEP voice. Usually, I didn't get to talk to him, just admire him on stage from down in the orchestra pit during musicals. I especially remember him in the barbershop quartet during the Music Man one summer. He was one of those great singer/actor fixtures of the A Capella Choir and the musical shows...what a talent, an inspiration, and a super person. (Katy Burdick)
