Robert P. Jacobson, age 59, of Venice, Florida, passed to eternal rest on September 29, 2021 in Venice.

He was born on July 10, 1962, a son of James J. and the late Anna Mae (Ferk) Jacobson.

Robert attended St. Henry’s Elementary Grade School in Dayton, OH and graduated from Lock Haven High School in PA. Robert attended Marquette University in Milwaukee.

He was employed as a realtor in the State of Washington before moving to Florida to care for his mother, Anna, and his father James J. Jacobson Sr.

He enjoyed his family and his trips to Wisconsin. His Steiner and Jacobson cousins, as well as, anyone he encountered in life relished in his wit, sense of humor and his infectious smile.


Survivors include his father, James “Jake” of Venice; brother, James of Milwaukee; nephews, John (Mackenzie) Jacobson and their daughter, Piper of Mequon and Brian Jacobson of Chicago, Eric Wanarski, and Nicolaus Albright of Lock Haven; nieces, Ashley (James) Baxter, Sarah and Elizabeth Albright all of Lock Haven. Further survived by his maternal aunts, Christine (Glenn) Schumacher of Plymouth and Mary Catherine Wittkopp of Fallston, MD, and the Steiner and Jacobson Family Cousins

He was preceded in death by his mother, paternal grandparents, Ervin and Edna Jacobson, maternal grandparents, Claude (Brownie) and Margaret Steiner and his grandmother, Jean Wifler Steiner, his sister, Jennifer Albright, niece, Kathryn Jacobson, and sister-in-law, Laura Ladish Jacobson, his aunts, Elizabeth (Thomas) VanderBloemen, Lorraine (Rex) Lockhardt, and uncles, Michael Wittkopp, Robert (Ellen) Jacobson, and Charles Steiner.
