Gary Kepler

Gary E. Kepler, 56, of Blanchard, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born April 16, 1962 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Carole Nicastro and the son of Joseph (Patricia) Newman, Sr. who survive in Mill Hall.

Gary was a 1981 graduate of Lock Haven High School. In 2003 he married the former Maria Irvin who survives. Gary was employed by Clinton Logistics.

He enjoyed riding ATV, mountain rides, snake hunts, truck pools, Ford trucks, Harley Davidsons, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and drinking a cold Busch Beer. Most important to Gary, though, was the time he spent with his family, especially his wife, children and granddaughter.

In addition to his wife, Maria Kepler, of Blanchard, he is survived by two children, Halley Kepler, of Lock Haven, and Brett Kepler, of Jersey Shore; his granddaughter, Mea Laura; five siblings, Lisa (Bill) Bridgens, of Lock Haven, Stacey (Terrill) Newman, of Williamsport, Joseph (Michelle) Newman, Jr., of Beech Creek, Amanda Thomas, of Mill Hall and Mike Thomas, of Mill Hall; four nieces, Susan, Cheyenne, Melee and Shataya; three nephews, Mark, Dallas and Kyle; and a great-nephew, Liam.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Eleanor Nicastro and his best friend and brother-in-law, Steve Ransdorf.
