Memorial services for Gerald Edward “Crabby” Shady, Jr, 60, will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in Social Springs Baptist Church, Ringgold, LA. Officiating will be Bro. James Hester. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the church before the service.

Crabby was born December 19, 1961 in Lock Haven, PA and passed away at his home in the Social Springs Community of Ringgold, LA on October 26, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Constance Shady, Sr; sister, Kathy Wetzel and a brother-in-law, Randall Nemyo.

Left to cherish his memory include his devoted wife of 15 years, Laurie Shady of Ringgold, LA; stepson, Brandon Scott and wife, Shannon Ella Marie of Bunkie, LA; step daughter, Alexis Sanderson and husband, Patrick of Robeline, LA; grandchildren, Alexa Scott and Donnie Sanderson; sisters, Deb Eisenhower and Sherry Welshans, both of PA; father-in-law, Ronald Nemyo of PA; mother-in-law, Karen Nemyo of PA; brothers-in-law, Todd Nemyo of AL, Brett Nemyo and Ken Wetzel, both of PA and a number of other relatives and friends.
