Tony Ray Townsend passed away November 20, 2010 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born October 16, 1971, he was the beloved son of Agnes (nee Fura) and the late Raymond P. Townsend. Besides his mother, Tony left surviving his cherished son, Hunter S. Townsend, the pride of his life and fiancee, Kari Balk and her daughter, Michaila; brother of Joseph F. (Linda), Paul Raymond (Cori), Ray Thomas and Tina Rae; also left surviving, several aunts and uncles; seven nieces and five nephews; several cousins and many friends.
Tony enjoyed owning and operating TNT Paving and Sealing and Center Street/B & M Auto businesses. He attended St. Joseph's (All Saints) his entire life and also was an altar boy and later on, an usher there. His hobbies included hunting, playing cards, caring for his animals and dog Raider, and watching the Yankees, Raiders and Bruins. Tony spent most of his time helping others, especially his family. He will be sadly missed.
