I was shocked and dismayed when I read here that Brad had passed. In life you only get a few "old" friends and Bradley and I go back to our births. If I ever had a second family it was the Slaters. I tried to find an obiuatary but had no luck. I did find a date of passing at a Riverside CA mortuary. It appears that Brad died on the 2nd of December, 2018 but no cause was listed. His Facebook page shows him in great spirits at a Boy Scout fuction on the 3rd of September, 2018. It was the last posting I could find. In my search I also found that his mom, Dorothy Mae and sister, Sharon, have also passed away. At the 35th LSHS Class Reunion I visied Mrs Slater with Bradley on Sunday morning. She locked hereself out of the house so Sharon had to come open the door. There we all were talking old times, in front of the house Brad's dad built, without me knowing that it would be the last time I would see any of them again. Rest in Peace, Mrs Slater, Bradley and Sharon. A piece of me passed on with you.
