Catherine Swank Miller

A celebration of life will be held at noon April 26 at the Secret Garden at Belknap Hot Springs near McKenzie Bridge for Catherine J. “C.J.” Miller of Eugene, who died Feb. 19 of liver failure. She was 60.

She was born May 6, 1948, in Long Beach, Calif.

She attended Long Beach High School and graduated from the Long Beach School of Hair Design and Cosmetology. For 42 years, she worked as a hair stylist and cosmetologist, and was a business owner for 27 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Autumn Johnston and Lisha Bolton, both of Eugene; siblings Richard Swank of Miami and Nancy Turberville of Norwalk, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
