Up date, 2020, I will be celebrating my 7th decade, (70th birthday) this coming February 1st 2020, I guess I have become the old fart my kids say I am but can't let them know, (Show not weakness). I'm fortunate to have followed my doctor's advice (after 5 years of telling me) and go on a diet to avoid type 2 diabetes and high cholesterol
I have reversed the Pre diabetes and lowered my cholesterol a1c down from 7.2
to 5.1, into a safer zone. I have lost 59 pounds and my wife over 60 pounds on the Ketos diet, and my doctor is pleased I don't need to take ANY prescriptions, just some over the counter supplements. I'm looking forward the our 55th reunion!. I wish you all the best and don't forget to" ROCK N ROLL !!!"
Still working and enjoying the Temecula Elks lodge, going on my 24th year; I was put in for a special award called "The Unsung Hero" It was for over 4,500 hours of community volunteer service thru the Elks. It was the only one in our region, & only 1 of the 19 given out for the 119 lodges in the California/Hawaii region.

ORIGINAL Profile Working Supporting my family, One of the Founding & Charter Members of the Temecula Valley, CA, Elks lodge, 2801, and been their Volunteer Chaplain or Asst. Chaplain, for the past 23 years. Moved to Temecula in 1993, when Temecula and Murrieta were only 48 thousand combined. Now over 1/4 million people.Have been on the Community Advisory Board for Temecula Valley Hospital for the last 5 years. What a great Hospital one of the top 6 in California.
I survived Colon Cancer back in 2006, and Cancer free since then, I caught it at stage one, and it went quite well, get those checkups. Also had a full knee replacement Oct. 2018 and it was worth it. I go to the gym 3 days a week for the last 4 years, trying to keep healthy for our grand children, 1 at 17, other 2 at 4 and 6.
Just recently The Elks put me in for an award, It was a Life Time Service Award, for community service of 0ver 4,500 hours. Nice wall plaque,letter of thanks, and presidential pin, and signed & sealed, from President Donald Trump's office.

School Story

Played on B football team in 10th grade, JV Football/ Co-Captain in 11th grade, and Varsity football in my senior year. I was a member of Thadus Fraternity, which football coach Hull hated. For the most part, High School was a "Blast"

Funny… I took 2 years of Spanish Class from a white Male teacher who taught us proper Castilian Spanish. Some of the Spanish speaking friends of the family looked at me funny, as they had no idea what I was saying for the most part. Went on to Long Beach City College,and Graduated from Cal State University, Long Beach in 1972. Major: Radio/Television Broadcasting, Minor: Marketing. Worked for 2 years at Boss Radio 93 AM & Channel 9 TV. Both on Melrose Ave, Hollywood,CA
