Married? To who? When? How long?
Married my high school sweethart and soulmate Sharon Coniway. Met in the fall of '89 at Lou Miller Park, married in 91. December 30th, 2010 Sharon passed unexpectedly. While not in body, she is still with me and will be for eternity.
Following is a letter from a family member who had great insights.
"Dear Kevin,
We just cannot express our sadness and sorrow to you in the loss of your beloved wife, Sharon.
Everyone knows that you and Sharon had a "magical and wonderful marriage and romance." You were the husband of all husbands. You did the greatest thing in the world for your children -- you loved their mother like no other. I don't know many people who know how to love the way the two of you did.
I am so sorry that the awful disease of of depression took her life. We all know that it was not her choice. Depression robs, steals, and destroys life. We are so very, very sorry for that.
We all learned a great deal about love from you and Sharon. I don't know too many people that experience such love, commitment, loyalty, and romance.
May your days be filled with the Sharon that knew and loved life. We all need to focus on the amazing person, wife, and mother that Sharon was, rather than the depression that she struggled with.
Her legacy is the love of her family."
