Janet and I knew each other as kids when I lived in Golden. Her parents and mine were friends. I remember one time when we were about 8 years old, we baked (and ate) so many goodies in an easy bake oven that we got sick! When my family moved to Longmont at the beginning of 10th grade, Janet took me under her wing and showed me around. After high school we would meet at Perkins for coffee. She was so loving to my oldest son, who was only 1 year old then. She would take him and walk around the restaurant and they would laugh at only God knows what. She moved to Florida to pursue her modeling career, which had a lot of promise. She was taken away from us much to soon. Janet, RIP.

I met Janet in High School.  She was in choir and my most vivid memory of her was from evenstar.  We spent alot of time together as a group, and I got to know her pretty well.  She used to call me Shari Sharon m Annie.  I can still hear her say it.  I still have alot of pictures from evenstar days and alot of them include her!  She was such a bright individual.  Always had a smile and a positive word and outlook!  She came to my church with me and asked Jesus into her heart!  i still have the paper that she filled out from that day!  I believe she is in heaven and i once again will be able to see her again one day!  You are missed Janet!

Jeff LeBeck mentioned this to me during one of my brief visits home but details were not available at that time.  Can anyone fill me in on the details?
