Skyline High School Class of '89 Reunion was a BLAST!

08/14/09 PICTURE UPDATE:

• The pictures Matt Mares took at Saturday nights event are ready HOWEVER the high quality images are on a disk that is being mailed to me.  You can see the low rez images on FaceBook if you friend Matt's company FB site.  Just search Matt Maresphotography to find him. (yes one word maresphotography) A HUGE Thank you to MATT for spending the night snapping away!  Also Thanks Roxanne - he is your brother and all ;)  Once I get the disk I'll upload them to a photo sharing site where I can create a slide show that we can embed right here in the site for easy viewing.  This will also allow you to click through to the site and view the high rez images as well as have the option to order copies!

• ALONG with the Pictures Matt took I'd like to start collecting other pictures that YOU all took from Friday, Saturday and Sunday' events.  Yes a lot of you have posted them to FaceBook but not everyone is friends with everyone (ya'll should get to friending more of each other, myself included), not everyone is ON FaceBook (Go get an account now), AND most importantly the images that are there are really low quality.  I am going to create a password protected album on the photo sharing site so this is what you do:
  • PLEASE if you took pictures at any of the events email my photo cohort in crime JENNIFER DUSZA (Robinson).  She will be the contact person for this project and once you email her she will provide you with the password to upload your photos.  PLEASE DO NOT share the password with anyone, if you know classmates who want to upload pictures send them to Jennifer this is for the security of the site; We don't want any internet freaks posting random pics to this album.  PLEASE stand by for the email address she wants you to use to contact her for the password and or for assistance.  I WILL SEND AN ALL CLASSMATE EMAIL WHEN WE ARE A GO...AND PLEASE upload in High Quality.  Thank You.  

08/04/09 Hi everyone.  A few updates and FYI's:

• First the reunion committee has decided to front the cost of keeping this site alive for one more year.  If there is interest in continuing it beyond that we will look for donations to renew the license.  In the mean time ENJOY it, utilize it, chat with your friends old and new.  Don't let it wither and die...

• UTILIZE the new message forums they are RIGHT OVER THERE <--------- The old forum has been linked in the new forum but the new forum is much cooler so let's start some topics!  I've heard from a lot of you that 10 years for our next get together is TOO LONG to wait.  I've started a topic about future get togethers so make sure you utilize it.  I'm intending to plan a girls mimosa brunch at my house so I'll keep you posted... HS school gals and friends of friends welcome so STAY TUNED.  Also, wouldn't it be great to have a end of summer or next year summer BBQ for multi year alumni?  YAH!  Well bring it up in the forums.  Please realize I (nor your reunion committee) can plan everything but keep these things in mind and utalize the message forums to get the ideas togehter.

• I haven't heard about the pictures =( Hopefully still coming soon... As you can tell I'm updating and organizing the site little by little when I have moments so bear with me.  As soon as we get the photo's from the photographer I'll get them right up PROMISE.

• I am also going to reach out to all of you soon to collect your independent photo's.  Zip them up and send them to me.  Yes they are all over Facebook but they are not a reusable quality and I can't go to all your sites and rip them off one by one.  =)  ALSO because we are not all friends with each other (YET?) or because some do not use Facebook there are some alumni who have not seen ANY reunion pics yet.  SAD! =(  I may create a generic flicker account and give the password to those of you willing to share and upload your pictures... THEN I can make one grand master slide show AWESOME! 

• If you have any suggestions for the site PLEASE email me, the site has it's built in limits but I'm always open to suggestions and ideas for making it more useful to you all =)
