Angela was survived By: David, her husband of 22 years; daughters, Kelsey and Caitlin Lyons; sister, Ann Rojas; brother, Richard Miller; step-father, John Smith; and step-mother, Sharon Miller.

Angela was my best friend from the first grade. We went through all 12 years together. She started playing clarinet the year I started playing violin (I think we were in 4th grade). (We used to try to play together but it was really hard on the ear... ;-) All our growing up years we lived just around the corner from each other. We were in Blue Birds and Camp Fire girls together, attended the same church, and in high school were camp counselors in the summers. I remember that in early high school I got the chicken pox (it was bad!) and Angela was one of my constant companions (because she *said* she'd already had them). Turns out she didn't and she got them, and gave them to her brother, and several others in school (I think we started a little epidemic!). I still have pictures of her sitting on my bed playing cards with me and entertaining me in my delirium. Hard to believe she died at just 46, and so sudden and unexpectedly. She was a wonderful person and left behind a husband and two wonderful daughters who look just like her. I know she is in heaven and I look forward to an even more awesome reunion!

She was my locker partner in 11th grade. She was really nice. I talked to her on the telephone before the 20th reunion and she lived in Texas at the time. We had a really nice visit but she was unable to come to the reunion. I will always remember her fondly.Donna York (Reimer)
I have to say, I was shocked to learn about Angela.So sad. It continued to be a shock to me days later. I don't know...I guess because I had some fairly strong memories with Angela and naturally just expected to reconnect as I'm doing with so many others.
We were band buddies. I remember her beautiful smile and crunchy laugh. She was a sweet friend who seemed to have a huge sense of ethics, and great business-mindedness.
Remembering Angela without Julie Peterson...or Tara Hartsoch...is nearly impossible for me. Add Susan Riss into the mix...and Randy Hutton...(all very accomplished clarinet players) and that's the great snapshot I have of a group of crazies I thoroughly enjoyed in high school!
If any of you knew Angela at the time of her death, and/or continued friendship with her beyond highschool and could fill me in, I'd love to know more about her.
My condolences to her family and those close to her. She is remembered today with fondness and gratitude for making my world a brighter place because of her life.
I will miss you, Angela.
