Judith Ann Judy McComas, age 26, of Lorain, died Tuesday September 28, 2004 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born January 17, 1978 in Lorain and had been a life-long resident of the city.
Judy was a 1996 graduate of Southview High School and was an active member of Beacon Baptist Church in Lorain.
Miss McComas was an ardent fan of the World Wrestling Federation and a loyal follower of the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series of auto racing where her favorite drivers were Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Jeff Gordon. She enjoyed working with counted cross-stitch, attending local flea markets, and shopping. She also maintained an extensive collection of knives, swords, and dragons.
She is survived by her parents: Donald E. and Mary L. (nee Vasilauskas) McComas of Lorain, paternal grandparents: Robert and Nellie (nee Woods) McComas also of Lorain, and godparents: Richard and Geraldine Geri Belt residing in Amherst. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Simon and Agatha (nee Yale) Vasilauskas.

I too remember Judy from Garfield. She started as "Gator" like many of us. Peace & blessings to her family.
