I graduated from UNM in 2002, then moved to Ohio for graduate school at The Ohio State University (Go Buckeyes!). In 2004, I married Rick Wilson, who you may remember as well. He had also moved to Ohio to attend law school after graduating from Cornell. I had an internship at Sandia National Laboratories and liked my research there better, so I arranged to complete my dissertation work at Sandia and still graduate from OSU. In 2005, Rick graduated from law school and we moved to Albuquerque so I could do research at Sandia. He passed the bar exam, and then my research transferred me to the California site of Sandia. He graciously came along and we now live in Livermore, California, where I am finishing my PhD work on Semiconducting Organics for Radiation Detection. Meanwhile, Rick is now a professional baseball umpire in affiliated baseball. He travels all of the baseball season and is home during the offseason.
