I met Ricky at edison.We spent most of the time dreaming about playing football.He actually made pro,but he was so determined.Anyone that knew Ricky,knew that he was going to get to his destination. I remember writing a letter to John Mc Kay and invited him to our homecoming game against manual arts and when I met him after the game he asked me to introduce him to Ricky. The next day I went ot my locker to get my clothes, I saw Mc Kay on the track with Ricky when I got over to the track, he had Ricky down in a stance timing him in the 40 yd dash. So anyway , I wrote the letter to USC but they took Ricky instead. I also wrote about another person on the team named Curtis (stork) Thomas. When we graduated, Ricky went to USC, Curtis at oregon, and me at the Hawaii U. I think sometime if Ricky were with us now, where would he be or what would he be doing. I always thought he would be a commentator or in the political field such as councilman or mayor. I haven't seen Curtis in quite a while but I know I will one day.
