Peri Castillo

Peri succumbed to cancer in 2009. She will forever be missed by her family, friends, and her Belmont High School Classmates.

 

Many Spirit of '76 Classmates did not know that Peri is the Aunt of one of our other Classmates Jo-Del Sotelo.

 

Quote from Jo-Del: "Peri was my favorite best friend and my favorite Aunt, even though I was older.  She had the greatest laugh ever!"

I'm so sorry to hear of Peri's passing.  I knew her and Jo-del since junior high school and she attended my wedding.  She was also a great team mate ..... and she did have a great laugh.

It was always wonderful conversing with Peri around our Belmont campus.  She sure looks beautiful in her Spirit of '76 Senior picture, but that beauty was more than doubled when she spoke with you from her true, honest and sweet heart.  We'lI miss you Peri!!!

How sad I am to read of Peri not being with us anymore.  I have such good memories of her from Jr. High School.  We were in so many classes together and what a wonderful, happy friend she was.  We always laughed together.  I miss her.  God Bless and my condolences to your family.

It is with great sadness to hear of the passing of Peri.  I will always remember that infectious smile and laughter.  To see her around campus was always a delight because she had this amazing spirit that illuminated from within.  Rest in peace my friend, and may your family continue to find comfort in knowing that you were an inspiration to others.

I share the sadness with everyone of Peri's passing.  My memories of Peri were in class and the basketball court.  Her athleticism was extraordinary and admired by many team mates including me.  She had a killer smile that can brighten up a bad day even at Ms. Kalinski's office.  Rest in peace to a wonderful classmate and a great athlete.
