On April 29, 1937, the Lord blessed Elijah and Joanna Williams with their second child of seven, Frederick (AKA Fred) Douglas Williams. Fredwas born in Vaughn, Mississippi, but grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and graduated from Booker Washington High School in 1955.

In his pursuit of knowledge, his journey took him many places - the U.S. Postoffice, computer analyst, business owner (courier service), real estate appraiser, community activist, mentor, little league and Pop Warner coach, mediator and volunteer. He was an active and influential member of the BTW Alumni Assoc. - Los Angeles Chapter. He was a devoted husband and loving father.

We will all miss him.
