   Thomas Dean Jackson died September 20 in Lake Oswego, Oregon. He was 68.

Mr. Jackson was born Dec. 17,1937 in Texas the only child of Bill and Jewell Jackson. The family moved to California in 1938 where “Dean” as was known in his childhood grew up and graduated from Los Banos High School in 1956.
He attentend San Jose Junior College and San Jose State College briefly before joining the U.S. Army in 1958.
While in the military he was stationed in Wurzburg, Germany as an X-ray technician in an Army hospital. It was there he met Sandra McGeorge and married her Aug. 19, 1961.
In 1974 he relocated his family to Lake Oswego, Oregon where he worked in broadcasting in nearby Portland and Spokane, Washington. Subsequent jobs led to achieving his dream of owning a business and in 1992 he co-founded Allied Technologies International in Tualatin, Oregon.
Mr. Jackson and his wife were avid travelers who visited their old Europe haunts frequently as well as making   trips to Turkey, Republic of Georgia and Latin America.
He was know for his sense of humor, his love of music, college football, cooking and good food and wine.
Most of all he will be remembered as somebody with a passion for life and living who made the most of every moment and made people feel good.
He is survived by his wife Sandra; children Bryant Jackson, Scott Jackson, Nancy Jackson all of Oregon; parents Bill and Jewell Jackson of Modesto and six grandchildren.
Services will be held Sunday in Oregon.
