Mariann was born on December 5, 1938, in Los Banos, Ca., and passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2011, in Sacramento. Ca.
She will be greatly missed by her sister, Lynne Klein; and forever remembered by her grand-nieces, Melissa and Karen Dalton; and her grand-nephews, George, Gregg, Geoff and Brian; plus 15 great-grandchildren
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. and a Mass will be held at St. Philomene's Catholic Church, 2428 Bell St. in El Camino on Saturday, September 24, 2011, at 10:00 a.m.

She was a friend all the way through school. My earliest personal recollection was being in her Dad's hospital in Los Banos after having my tonsils taken out. She sat at the foot of my bed and gave me a hard teasing. Always mischievious, she was fun. As an adult, diabetes got to her and it ultimately took her life. She was very brave in her passing, truly amazing. I'll skip the part about the tomato throwing and the cops; if you were a part of it, you know who you are.
