John R. Rowe

  John Richard Rowe, son of Edwin and Ruby Rowe of Los Banos, died Friday in Madera. He was 54.

  Born in Arkadelphia, Ark., he a resident of Madera for 20 years.

  Mr. Rowe was actively involved with the Los Banos Little League, Madera Babe Ruth, Madera Bobby Soxs and the A.S.A. Softball League.

  He was also a member of St Joachims’s Catholic Church in Madera.

  Mr. Rowe is survived by his wife, Marilyn Rowe of Madera; a son, Richard Rowe of Atwater: two daughters, Kathy Carpenter of Clovis and Lourie Rowe of Fresno; his parents Edwin and Ruby Rowe; a brother, Donald Rowe of Los Banos; and two granddaughters. Funeral services were Monday at the Jay Chapel in Madera.
