Rene Joyce Hackney, 57, of Louisville, KY passed away on March 28, 2018. Rene was a hard worker and loved her family very much. Preceding Rene in death is her step-father; William Joseph Garrett and her grandparents; Florence Hackney, Gene Hackney, Isham Downey, Martha Downey and Gladys Garrett. Left to cherish Rene’s memory is her loving partner of 32 years, Donald Ray Hill “Little Daddy,” Her parents; Raymond Eugene Hackney and Peggy Joyce Garrett, sister; Rebecca Ann Meredith, step-sister; Cody Hackney, niece, Josee Nicole Meredith, nephews; Taylor Wayne Meredith, Brandon and Michael along with many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly. Rene will also be missed by her beloved fur babies; Calie, Tator and Shebia. Visitation for Rene will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 1:00pm-8:00pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven. A celebration of Rene’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, KY 40218.
