Cara Patterson (Short)

I can't sleep without Mickey here. I fell asleep at the hospital today and slept two hours. Oh well.. he was doing pretty good today but got sick this evening at dinner time. They were giving him the generic Omeprazole even though I told them when he was admitted that the generic didn't work. They evidently didn't relay that info to the doctor. As soon as he got sick I knew that's what it was so asked them and then she said they would have to get the orders changed... I told her I would just bring his Prevacid tomorrow and for her to tell the doctor to ok letting him take it. Otherwise he'll be sick to his stomach every day.

Ray and Suzanne came to see him today after church and George Riley came and stayed for quite a while. They talked about basketball (UL/UK) players back to the 70's. Jen and the boys came up this evening right at the end of the UL game - Kyle was recording the game at home so had to wait in the hallway till it was almost over. Then at a commercial we had him come in and sit under the tv so he couldn't see it and muted it so he couldn't hear it. We had to get him out of the hallway because they were watching the game in all the other rooms and he had his hands over his ears so he couldn't hear! He is such a cutie! It was a little scary there for a bit but they pulled it off!

Well, guess I'll get off here and try to get sleepy - it's too late to take anything now or I won't get up!

I saw Mickey early in the afternoon and he was in great spirits. Preacher Gary, Jamie, Brandon, and ET came by too. Debi was supposed to go visit after work. Cara was in and out.
