4th of July Party at the Bumann's House

There will be a parade this year, so be thinking how your family will fit in. Red, white, and blue.

I will put the top down on the Mustang so Mom can be in the parade, but we need lots of clever ideas.

Alec says it will be to great to just do it on our street!

Steamers, outfits, wagons, bicycles, batons, princess tiaras, Uncle Sam look alikes....you name it.

Come, come, come.

I have not called everyone, but will try to on Saturday so keep the calendar empty, join us and we will have a grand ole time.

CALL ME WITH ANY CREATIVE IDEAS ABOUT THE PARADE SO WE CAN GET AN ITINERARY TOGETHER.

Prayers to God for all the healings and good things that are happening to the Short family. We are blessed.

I'm so excited about 4th of July at your house...the parade sounds like a great idea...Can't wait!

Someone at work told me that if you call your local fire dept. they will have a fire truck come to your parade...I guess it's worth asking...

we should have 2 people holding a big white banner to be in front of everybody...if you tell me what the banner should say I will make it...

also, do you care if my parents come to?

I was thinking to have the gathering begin at 2:00. Some can come earlier and go out on the boat for a few hours if they want. I think that will be ok with the Captain. LOL

Lots of thoughts, but nothing in stone, yet. Still six days to go.............Why rush it? Right!

Debra Lou Short (Dissell) The few...the proud....the family......Are we included in "a few"??? Okay...now FOOD...I say everyone bring meat and drinks for their family and a side dish or dessert for the group. But we are game for whatever you say. All I know is my Partner and me will take anyone on in Canasta!!

We're all doing good! Justice & I are going back to school! We both just got pell grants! =) He's going to be a firefighter/EMT & I'm going for medical sonography (ultrasound) =)

Andrew just got signed up for Pre-K today he's all excited about that (we are too since he got the last slot at the daycare we want him at) LUCKY!

Brooke is spending today and tomorrow in Fort Lauderdale with my Grandma, Aunt & Cousin so she's enjoying herself!

As far as the house goes... NO we're no wheres near done LOL but it's picture worthy finally! =) Hope you liked the pics =) More to come!

We'll probably light off fireworks & BBQ for the 4th =) What about you all?
