Well, Johnny LOVES the country, so he is country folk...but most of us here in Louisville and surrounding areas are CITY folk!! You need to bring Justice and the kiddos to visit!!! I am feeling better. Still a long way to go, but my inner ear pain is 90% gone. Still have pain in the right side of my head, especially during the night while I am trying to sleep.

Thanks all for asking.

Spencer has the chicken pox, hopefully a mild case. Got his second chicken pox vacine a week ago and the doctor said that he might have a reaction. Well, he did.

X Box is working again. Yeah!!!!!

wow what a morning. hope everyone survived okay, i know lisa is stuck in traffic trying to get home. jamies yard, driveway, and car are flooded, but receding, dad is fine, slept through it all wanted to know why in the world he had 17 missed calls from me and cara. my mom has 5 feet of water in her basement, water coming in dryer vent and windows. garage up to chest level, and kellys car completely submerged. oh and btw no bunco tonight. michelle and i are both fine, river in yards for a while but gone now. back half of subdivision still underwater. so now we have had wind, ice, and rain. hope we are done for a few years. let us know if anyone needs help with clean up.

Jennifer Short (Gnau) dads rehab is helping, he is worn out, but has more strength. was able to carry yard waste to trash out front, doesnt sound like much, but so much better.

Lisa Short (Dillander) Debi a few weeks ago David had a allergy induced asthma attack.Last week he had A PIECE OF fence go in one side of his calf and go through the other.I dont know I think bunco is Tuesday but that isnt gonna work for me .I dont think it works for Kristie either but have to see.

Lake Michigan was great and after that week, I got to spend 4 days at Nolin River for our 9th Annual (10th, if you include our Chicago trip) Girls' Week at Mary Margaret's place!

Facebook was too much for me. I deleted it from my "favorites" but I need to delete myself from their files, too. So if I ignore you there, get me here. Remember, also, I am "old school". I like the personal contact of a phone call.

Farmtown? Everything is probably dead. Again, too much "playtime" on the computer and I just want to be outside when I can. Thanks for being my "neighbors" and good ones too. You kept my plants watered while I was gone. I will probably be "gifting" all my farm equipment and plants to you soon.

A dear friend, Juanita Fritz died the night before we left for Michigan. We left at 3:15 and the email and call came in a little after 4:00. Sadly, I missed the service. 300 or more at the church. She was so loved. She will now sing in Heaven's Choir. That will make her happy.
Say a quick prayer for her family. They did have almost 2 weeks to adjust to her death. They had been told hours or days and she lasted 9 days.

vicki, i am glad you had a good trip, i am sorry about your friend.
debi, i hate school. i miss my kids. but, kyle is in AP and honors classes, half of his classes are with AP juniors, wow, who would have thought he was a whiz kid. may be asking for help, anybody good at geometry and physics? anyway hope everybodys first day back was great!
