Hey Donn - thanks for the link for the show Pete & Gladys - When I looked at it I thought "That can't be right" because it aired from 1960-62 (and I was born in 55). After looking further, I saw that the sitcom at the time that I was born was "December Bride" and Pete Porter was the next door neighbor who was married to the never seen Gladys who was finally seen in the form of Cara Williams in the December Bride, spinoff, Pete and Gladys which debuted in the fall of 1960. "Pete" was played by Harry Morgan (MASH). So - I guess the reason that Mom named me "Cara" is because her name is "Gladys" and I was born in December... Who knows. Anyway - that's always the story she told. It was evidently the nurse's suggestion and she liked it. Nothing like waiting until you're at the hospital to decide on a name.

Susan Bumann (Bumann-Riehl) Yes, Debi, I am in for Bunco. Thanks for calling to include me. Tuesdays are good for me because Jim already has the boys. However, I can try and make anything work. I refuse to give up my Friday nights though :-)

Debra Lou Short (Dissell) Donns sister in law has to have surgery tomorrow on her back and she cannot walk. Andy and Danielle and Drew are all working and Christian has basketball practice at church (Upwards) so Donn has to take him. Then he will be back soon.

Cara Patterson (Short) Michelle works nights so probably won't but you can ask. Look at the news!!! March 4 - 70's - several days that week in the 70s!!! Spring is coming!
